Vaporum es un RPG de exploración de mazmorras basado en cuadrículas de un jugador y de personaje único en primera persona, enmarcado en una original estética «steampunk». Se inspira en juegos de la vieja escuela como Dungeon Master I y II, la saga Eye of the Beholder y por otros más recientes, como Legend of Grimrock I y II. Abandonado en medio del océano frente a una enorme torre, nuestro héroe tiene que averiguar dónde se encuentra, lo que ocurrió en ese lugar y, lo más importante, desentrañar su propia identidad.
Combate en tiempo real en primera persona.
Puzles y objetivos que abarcan niveles completos.
Sistema RPG basado en el uso de gadgets.
Montones de opciones de exploración, saqueo y personalización de personaje.

El combate sucede en tiempo real. Cada enemigo tiene sus propios puntos fuertes y débiles, así que tienes que emplear distintas tácticas para derrotar a cada uno de ellos. Cada tipo de arma tiene una serie de bonificaciones y habilidades únicas, lo que añade un extra de profundidad estratégica a la hora de equipar armas.
Encontrarás muchos tipos de gadgets: ataques directos, ataques de área, bufos ofensivos y defensivos... Los gadgets son poderosos, pero algunos enemigos son inmunes a cierto tipo de ataques, así que tendrás que averiguar cómo arreglártelas en cada caso mientras progresas en el juego.
Resuelve puzles fascinantes y nuevos objetivos en cada nivel, en los que tendrás que hacer gala de tu ingenio y tus reflejos. Mientras que la mayor parte de puzles y acertijos se limitan a una única habitación, los objetivos de progresión pueden abarcar todo un nivel, o incluso varios.
En lugar de incrementar las habilidades de tu personaje humano, mejorarás el exoesqueleto que llevas equipado. El juego combina el aspecto «eres lo que te equipas» con el desarrollo a largo plazo de tu exoesqueleto. El sistema de gadgets te permite cambiar tu selección de gadgets en cualquier momento, lo que te otorga una gran flexibilidad a la hora de adaptarte a diferentes situaciones. Por otra parte, a medida que progresas en el juego, vas desbloqueando circuitos útiles en tu exoesqueleto con los que obtienes bonificaciones de atributo permanentes y habilidades pasivas.
Varado en un pequeño islote en medio del océano, entras en una enorme torre mecánica. Nada parece tener sentido, pero, a la vez, todo te parece extrañamente familiar...
Si quieres desentrañar el trasfondo de esta historia y descubrir los misterios de la torre, puedes indagar leyendo todas las notas que te encuentres. Pero no te preocupes, si ignoras los textos, tampoco pasa nada. ¡Todos los puntos clave de la historia están narrados con voces reales por los personajes principales!
Hay multitud de áreas opcionales en el juego que puedes explorar u omitir. A menudo presentan desafíos adicionales, ¡pero también esconden recompensas! La torre se encuentra plagada de pasadizos secretos que contienen objetos únicos y notas de sus habitantes, lo que te permite ser testigo de sus vidas y de los sucesos previos a tu llegada.

Vaporum is a grid-based, single-player & single-character dungeon crawler
RPG seen from the first person perspective in an original steampunk setting.
Inspired by old-school games like Dungeon Master I and II, the Eye of the
Beholder series, and the most recent Legend of Grimrock I and II. Stranded in
the middle of an ocean, in front of a gigantic tower, the hero has to find
out what the place is, what happened there, and most importantly, who he is.

Combat takes place in real time. Each enemy has a distinctive set of strengths
and weaknesses so you have to employ different tactics to beat each one.
Weapon types have each a set of unique bonuses and behaviors which adds more
depth and thought when choosing what weapons to equip.
You will find many types of gadgets: direct attacks, area attacks, offensive
& defensive buffs... These gadgets are powerful, but some enemies are immune
to certain types of attacks, so you will have to figure out the best way to
deal with every encounter the game throws at you.
Solve intriguing puzzles and level-wide objectives where you have to use
both your wits and reflexes. While most puzzles and riddles are contained
in a single room, progression objectives can span an entire level or even
multiple levels.
Instead of increasing the abilities of your human character, you will
improve an exoskeleton rig you wear. The game combines a "you are what you
wear" aspect with a long-term development of your exo-rig. The gadget-based
system allows you change your loadout of gadgets at any time, giving you a
great deal of flexibility to deal with various situations. On the other hand,
as you progress, you get to unlock useful circuits on your exo-rig, gaining
significant permanent attribute bonuses and passive skills.
Stranded on a small islet in the middle of an ocean, you enter a gigantic
mechanical tower. Nothing makes sense to you, but it is all strangely familiar...
If you want to get into the backstory and uncover the mysteries of the tower,
you can delve right into it by reading all the notes you can find. Don't worry,
though, you can safely ignore all the text. All major story points are narrated
by the main characters and they are fully voiced!
There are many optional areas in the game that you can choose to explore.
They usually present some form of additional challenge, but come with a reward
too! The tower is riddled with secret passages that contain unique items and
notes of its inhabitants, giving you an insight into their lives and events
that precede your arrival.

BEFORE TO START THE SETUP YOU MUST CHECK IF THE FILE 7zG
WORKS WITH YOUR SYSTEM, IF IT WORKS THEN GO TO THE INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS IF NOT READ THIS POINTS
-Install libwxgtk3.0-dev - [sudo apt-get install libwxgtk3.0-dev]
-If you are running a 64 bits OS try to install this:
sudo apt-get install libwxgtk3.0-dev:i386
or
sudo apt-get install libwxgtk3.0:i386
-If still crashing try to compile yourself the tool

How to compile the tool
========================
-Uncompress the file p7zip.src.7z
-Install the g++ compiler [sudo apt-get install g++]
-Enter in the directory and type [make && make 7zG] and wait..
-If the compilation worked, copy the files 7zG and 7z.so, they
are in the folder bin, try again, if it works then overwrite this
files and now is time to go to the installation instructions
