Its hard to follow conversations, my native lang is english and translate is poor. but I assume I'm being spoken of? I enjoy all groups and dont think of it as a competition as much as others. maybe I misunderstand this thread and speak out of line. Let me know if I misunderstand, I think all groups should get along and have fun instead of fight. :ok:

I thought so, but when a group it's a liar, cheat, stole and makes money for the rips is not funny or you think is it?
I like sharing tools, "how-to" etc.. but before that we need to clean a bit internet, we did in the other forum (Liberty Forum) and worked

Look, i tried to make some contact with this team , 25 years ripping in my back, it's a lot of time, i contacted with them to try to help and they banned to me and deleted the posts , you talking about fight?

I know that to make some rips it's a lot of time, i already know, i respect all the gruops, BUT if they DON'T LIE, actually after KPS ehhehe, my best "group" it's FITGIRL, she is amazing, really, she can kick all the rippers of the world if she want and i recommend to grab some rips from FITGIRL if you want the movies in original quality.
KPS is more than a ripper group is a group who make multimedia compression tests, normally LOSSY
Anyway, i'm leave in 7 months, i have enough, this forum will change, another admin, and other rippers, they know what to do, you are in good hands, don't worry for the language, we use some typical spanish jokes and slang from the streeet
Sorry for my english, it's a bit poor, i learned in the Kitchen (London) when i was there a few years.

I cant say much about anybody being liars,cheats or so on, I've only been ripping games for a short few years. I enjoy ripping games, mostly for my archives.
I saw the images, good quality. I dont know much about image compression though.

I never lied in my nfos, maybe forgot to edit one but always correct my mistakes, not sure about others.
Fitgirl is good, I have many of her rips, I also have many rips from oldschool like skullptura and teamjpn. I began by reading batch files from skullptura and TOED, so on. Then tested for blackbox, did my own less popular rips under DWi or DEaL.WiTH.iT, now do stuff with kaos.
I dont know how to make any tools or utilities but much respect to you and others who do.
Can I ask why are you leaving in 7 months, and am I removed from tutorial section?
I understand because I work with kaos, but thanks for letting me remain to download the games I like from KPS :ok:

I'm leave because my time doing rips is done, 25 years ripping..i have enough.
You have been removed because i made a mistake about the group permissions, it's only for KPS members.
I understand because I work with kaos, but thanks for letting me remain to download the games I like from KPS
I don't main if you "work" for KAOS or another name or for yourself

I dont' know what games are you ripped, maybe you need to explain in the NFO WHO from KAOS made the rip or repack, but the OPUS files at 30 (bitrate) it's a bit low
The KPS NFO are detailed, what we did with the audios, the textures, bitrates, etc...all the details

I agree with Fl0ppy, not much to comment. I only work with groups, kaos is the most recent.
Again I dont have any say in any groups I work with only work to rip or assist in data storage, other endeavors.
All groups will have inside jokes and such, but I think Fl0ppy and myself agree openly groups should engage each other and be willing to share techniques and information, or try to teach one another if sharing is frowned upon, even if we talk a bit of trash in jest with one another.
I dont think groups should ban one another from their forums or engage in hateful comment/nfo wars.
I have much respect for KPS and all groups, lets come together everyone and make the best rips/repacks possible. :ok:

crack-wars, nuked-wars,stoled-wars, nfo-wars, fix-wars...any war you can imagine
Maybe, just maybe "scene-web-rips-repack" can make some agreement/rules in a paper, like Fitgirl, blackbox, kaos, KPS..like THE SCENE did time ago, im open to new ideas and agreements, and the KPS members too.

personally,i also think that competition improves the work.but the key is watch,think,and say no word.especially the last one.
aqui se dice "el que come callado,come 2 veces".tambien se dice "mejor pasar por weon,q por vivo (astuto)".mejor ignorar a la gente q no nos aporta con nada.pelear una vez,y ya despues ley del hielo.al final es mas astuto el q hace eso.

My original Post in the Tutorial section was meant to clear the water that I was here and downloading rips/repacks from KPS since I noticed alot of talk that seemed to be about me.
I didn't intend to become a sort of peace ambassador to the capacity it would take to get groups together and talking.
Lets all groups get along, keep the wars/trash talk to a minimum, and make the best rips/repacks the internet has seen. :ok:

We need a member of each group/team to talk about it, just to talk, then will see what happens, we are better than the politicians, we can do it.

I really think that is a good start that deserves all the respect and encouragement. All these groups try to give us a lot of happiness with their hard effort. A brotherhood and their own rules could be a great future settlement. Love you guys! :ok:

Sure, i started to help developing/testing a some new video/graphic format, it takes time

In open chat or in i2p chat? you know some privacy, irc public servers keep logs and id's
Looks its time to start the engine, i will do my papers/ideas, it need some time, but the basic idea, it's like create a a QUALITY-LABEL, like "THE COUNCIL RIP" (heeh The Lord of the rings) where in this council this gruops: "xxx, xxx, xxx,xxx, are recommmended and put pros and contras, like Fitgirl uses lossless if you like the original then use this, Kaos uses bik2 in the movies great quality if you like HD movies in your game, KPS sometimes reduces too much the movies but if you have low bandwith it's better for you, etc.."
It's a lot of games outside waiting for rip o reduce the size.
We only need a day /month/year /hour in utc time and know if the server it's in i2p or in open space. I hope fitgirl and other groups will like the idea/suggestion

I've not been active lately, but i noticed the greetz in nfos and have been told the groups have been communicating. I will keep an eye on this thread from time to time. maybe come drop into our irc sometime floppy/KPS team.

Mi experiéncia en el ripeo es que te has de avanzar a unos cuantos años a los programadores de videojuegos, porque ellos más adelante comenzarán a usar los métodos que usas, por ejemplo ahoralo juegos ya vienen con ogg vorbis y videos h264, cosa que nosotros haciamos porque ellos en esa época usaban compresores adpcm y videos con xvid o la puta mierda esa del bik, USM, Theora y ahor algunos subnormales porque no tienen otro nombre hacen videos mjpg, ¿que es un video mjpg?

Ahora ya han comenzado a aplicar compresión LZMA (7-zip) en los juegos, véase por ejemplo la KSPedia del Kebal Space program.
Lo que pasa es que no optimizan, como dijno un amigo mio que trabaja en una multinacional como jefe de desarrollo de videojuegos (****) y ya sabe quien es KPS, que hago y todo eso, encima le paso sus juegos ripeados cuando se vienen por casa jajaja, le explico que podrian optimizar y todo eso, pero dice "sale más barato que la gente se cambie el hardware o se compre una videoconsola nueva a mejorar un juego"
No hablo de un pelanas típico sinó de alguine que manda en un continente sobre las salidas de videojuegos y como planean sus planes de salida al mercado.
Aunque no hace falta concer nadie de dentro todos lo veis, los juegos cada día son peores, más updates, petan más, funcionan peor y son má caros, creo que esta épocs (2005-2020 y siguientes) serán recordadas como la peor época de videojuegos,
Sin ideales para niños-rata, pónle a uno de esos 4 créditos (100 pesetas, menos de 1 euro, 4 partidas) al MAME y que se acabe el Ghost'n'goblins a ver si tienen cojones y sin trucos.

Yo ese no lo jugué, pero me acuerdo que un amigo tenía el Mission Impossible para la NES, y no sé si habré estado más frustrado con un juego en mi vida. Sumale el nivel de inglés que tenía con 8-9 años...no teníamos ni zorra de qué había que hacer, :juas:

Ostiaaa el bubble bobble, ese le jugué en el olivetti 286 de un amigo. Mis primeros videojuegos (junto al Monkey Island). Con este juego descubrí que las plataformas no eran lo mío. Con el tiempo no he mejorado... :juas:

Con el que me he descojonado más es con el Flght Simulator X, tambien llamado Bug Simulator, me hice una ruta de 3 meses, tengo el mando ese de piloto y un joystick que vibra para los caza, ostias que risas, mete el caza le das 4 empujone al joystick de manera rápida y el juego se queda idiota.

jaja,no.pero si de alguna manera me he hecho un pokito mas paciente.tb me paso con los niños malcriados,no los soportaba,pero ahora ya manejo mejor la frustracion.viste q en la pension q vivo esta lleno de cabros chicos odiosos...buenos pa hacer pataleta,gritar,hasta le pegan a la mama po.ya 2 años viviendo asi me ha entrenao pa tener mas tolerancia.
